Below is our recipe for Rhubarb Simple Syrup, which works well in a gin or vodka cocktail.
1 cup chopped rhubarb
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/ Put all ingredients into a pot
2/ Stir over heat to dissolve sugar
3/ Bring to a boil
4/ Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes
5/ Strain pulp from syrup
6/ Let cool
NOTE: This method can be used for raspberry syrup, Saskatoon berry syrup or just about any other type of fruit..
